The Ocean

The Ocean are a German post-metal collective who have spent two decades reshaping heavy music under founder Robin Staps, their guitarist and lyricist, working with a rotating cast of players. This Gagarin show is built around Solaris, their twelfth album, named after the Andrei Tarkovsky film, with material from across the discography worked in. Belgium's Psychonaut bring their debut World Maker and frontman Stefan De Graef, while Hungary's The Devil's Trade, the solo project of songwriter Makó Dávid, arrives off a touring history that runs through Roadburn, Hellfest and Brutal Assault.
