Vígljós live at Black Temple

Vígljós make their first trip to Greece, and Temple Athens is where the Swiss four-piece land. Formed in Basel in 2022, they call what they do old-school black metal, built on the second-wave Norwegian template of Darkthrone, Immortal and Burzum, then threaded with mellotron, synth and the odd rock'n'roll riff. The set leans on their new album, Tome II: ignis sacer, a record about ergotism, the grain fungus behind medieval St Anthony's Fire and, later, LSD. They promise a show for the nose as well as the ears. Support act to be announced.
