The legendary DJ Krush, who shaped global trip hop, returns to Athens for a unique DJ set at Arch Club. Born Hideaki Ishi in Tokyo, he initially followed a difficult path before dedicating himself fully to music. He began DJing in the early 1980s, inspired by the film Wild Style. His work spans multiple genres (trip hop, ambient, experimental, hip hop) without fitting into fixed categories. He creates unfiltered sound art. Through atmospheric beats, dark melodies, natural field recordings, and soul and jazz samples, DJ Krush produces a distinctive sonic landscape. His approach has continuously evolved across decades without conforming to conventional boundaries.
